FLOWERMATE - SLICK: SLICK & EASY VAPE PEN
With the Flowermate Slick, the team at Flowermate present to us the follow-up to their popular Aura vaporiser. The Slick is a solid, all-round pen vape that is suitable for dry herbs, as well as oils and wax with the included oil/wax chamber. The Slick is perfect if you’re looking for a good entry-level vaporiser, and it also makes a great compact vape you can take with you on your travels.
One highlight of the Slick is the sturdy glossy carbon finish that protects the unit. This makes it less prone to scratches and accidental damage, which sure comes in handy if you’re vaping on-the-go. The battery lid and the top cap are held securely in place by magnets, but you can easily remove them. Safely protected under the top cap is another highlight of the Slick: a glass borosilicate mouthpiece. The glass mouthpiece, a rarity in this price range, ensures full flavour without the “plastic taste” evident in many other vapes of this style.
FLOWERMATE SLICK: TOP PERFORMANCE FROM A VAPE PEN
The Flowermate Slick is powered by a single standard 18650 battery (2500mAh), which you can easily replace if needed. The heat-up time of the Slick is a short 30 seconds. You can charge the unit with the included micro-USB cable. A fully charged battery will last for about one hour of constant use, or about 10–12 sessions.
THREE TEMPERATURE SETTINGS FOR AN OPTIMAL VAPE EXPERIENCE
The Slick features three different temperature settings that you can easily select by pushing the power button 3 times. You can choose between 196℃, 205℃, and 215℃. The temperature setting is indicated by a blue, green, or red light on the unit. If you want to vape oils or wax, it is recommended that you use the highest temperature setting.
HOW TO USE YOUR FLOWERMATE SLICK
- To access the chamber, remove the top cap and the mouthpiece. You can put the cap at the end of the unit; it is magnetic, so it will stick.
- You can directly fill the chamber with your favourite medium-ground herb, or use the included steel pod. If you want to use oils or wax, fill and then insert the included oil/wax chamber.
- Put the mouthpiece back on.
- Push the power button of the Slick 5 times to turn on the unit (it will vibrate).
- Choose your desired temperature by clicking the button 3 times.
- The Slick will vibrate to indicate when it has reached temperature.
- To stop the heating process, press and hold the power button for 2 seconds.
